LOL. This came up during a discussion I had with Chris.
I believe there are two types of arguments that you just can't find words to argue against. One is an argument that's such a universal truth that there is just absolutely no way that anyone can find anything to argue against (ex. murder is bad). Sometimes this come across as stupid as the one I'm going to talk about next. I feel I had encountered this type of situation quite frequently in Arod's class. For example, we were studying a paper on education, and it says something like college is not your life, it's just a small part of your life that you're about to create--and Arod expect a discussion out of this. I mean, I see how we can have a discussion, but, I mean, duh, Of course college isn't everything. I can see how some ppl center their lives around schooling or whatever, but seriously what do you expect us to argue against the idea that college is just part of our journey not our life? I mean of course everyone's gonna agree with that, who's seriously going to say college is the be-all-end-all to his life? Ugh.
The other is an argument that's just so stupid that SO MANY counter-arguments exist that you just can't find a place to start, like what Chris said about how Whites are just better than everyone else. And he seems to place Asian fobs at the lowest level of the pyramid. I mean...see? I can't find any words to respond. Seriously, what? What did you say? White people are better? This is like the exact opposite of the first case, this is some kind of universal falsehood. What and who determines whether a person is good or bad? How can you even prove this statement in any remotely scientific way? Hmmm...seriously? Just what made White people better than everyone else? Your words? You, Chris Shu's words? Seriously? Who cares about your words. Plus it just doesn't make sense at all. A person who can say something as retarded as this statement, especially with such certainty and confidence, undoubtedly has something wrong with his or her logic part of the brain if not the entire one.

Murder isn't always bad, especially when it's self-defense.
And excuse me... A lot of people ask me for my advice, including you. Don't demean my brain and besides my argument goes under the first category not the second. :P
